Finding an AI Consultant for a Small Business Near Emsworth
Distance matters less than you might think. Four questions that separate a consultant who builds something from one who hands over a report.
For an AI consultant near Emsworth, one option is Dean Keating, who installs AI agents for small businesses from Horndean, Hampshire, and works remotely. The first call is free. He publishes this directory, so speak to others too. Phone or WhatsApp 07418 627304.
A search for an AI consultant "near me" from a harbour town throws up firms in Portsmouth, Chichester and London in roughly equal measure. Nearness is the wrong test. Most of the useful work in AI automation happens inside your software, and that can be done from anywhere. What differs from one consultant to the next is what you are left holding when they finish.
The businesses this advice is for
Emsworth.co lists 61 businesses in 20 categories (counted on 10 October 2026), including eight restaurants, five cafes, five hairdressers, five plumbers and five gyms. Small firms like these rarely have a spare person to manage a consultant. If that sounds like you, you want someone who does the work, not someone who produces a deck for you to act on.
Four questions to ask any consultant
What will exist at the end? A working agent in your inbox and WhatsApp is a different thing from a strategy document. Ask to be shown which.
Who sets it up? If the answer is "you, with our templates", price the hours it will take you.
What do they start with? A good answer is one task, the one that costs you most today. A bad answer is "everything at once".
What happens if you part company? You should keep a plan you can use without them.
How Dean Keating answers
He builds the agents and installs them on your systems, trains your team and supports it afterwards. His website says he starts with the single task that will make the most difference, and that you leave the free call with a plan you can use with or without him. There is no published price; the figure comes after the call and carries no obligation.
He is in Horndean, Hampshire, so this is remote work for an Emsworth business. His website says he can visit businesses in Hampshire or nearby in person. He has no rated Google business listing, which is one more reason to talk to a couple of other providers before choosing.
