Emsworth Arts Trail 2026: 25 Years of Open Studios
The Emsworth Arts Trail marks its 25th anniversary in 2026 — one of the longest-running open studios events in Hampshire, drawing visitors to artists' homes and studios across the town and surrounding villages.
The Emsworth Arts Trail is an annual open studios event that has been running for 25 years, making it one of the most established events of its kind in Hampshire. Each year, local artists and makers open their homes and studios over a weekend in the summer, giving visitors a rare chance to see work in progress and buy direct from the artist.
The trail spans Emsworth and the surrounding villages — Southbourne, Westbourne, and the rural areas of Chichester Harbour. Artists working in painting, ceramics, printmaking, textiles, photography, and sculpture all take part. A free map guides visitors between studios, which are spread across the town and countryside.
The 25th anniversary edition in 2026 is expected to be the largest to date. For details of dates and participating artists, visit the Emsworth Arts Trail website.
